The message of the nature is an active power of expression. It is a creative power that should be oriented towards the defence of the human beings and the environment, through the rescue of the wonderful ecosystem of the fatherland Earth.

Nowadays we live in a society that is determined in fighting and contradicting the human nature, a world where the denaturalisation of the real prevails over the planet.

Art is a bridge between human beings and nature. It can achieve the communication, the purity and the transformation of our mind and our spirit in harmony with the ecosystem in which we live.

We should overcome the tragic message of the contemporary art, which resort to the grotesque, the disappointment, the scorn for the sensitivity and innocence. The innocence with which the human being approaches all the creation in the search for the renovating experience, which connect themselves with the positive hope that this artificial society, in which we live in, is taking away.

Thinking about all these realities, my pictorial language through the colour was born.

Warm tones because I come from the tropics. My work is deeply colourful, stressing the contrasts and the oppositions, echoing the disparities that are present nowadays in nature, and even more dramatically, in life.

I resort to the text, the writing, the ancestral and modern symbols, in order to confront the large dilemmas of our time. I try to generate questioning, doubt, and also hope and happiness.

I try that my art does not stay static, aiming that it moves and grows fed by images. Urgent images with the necessity of liberating themselves towards the world of the possible; where the seed for the new consciousness of earthly identity is able to germinate, and hopefully will bear the fruit.
